At 39 weeks pregnant your breathing may become easier as your baby has dropped low into position for birth. If you start having contractions which don’t go away as you move around and get stronger and more intense as time goes by then it’s quite likely you are in labour!

At 38 weeks pregnant you are probably feeling very weary and uncomfortable. Since your baby’s head will be putting pressure on your bladder and cervix you may need to use the toilet more frequently and you may notice strange buzzing sensations in your vagina as your baby moves his head against your pelvic floor muscles!

37 Weeks Pregnant – What’s Happening?

At 37 weeks pregnant, any day now you may have a show when the mucous plug sealing your cervix comes away. This thick sticky substance is usually yellowish and may be slightly blood stained, although often mums don’t notice when it comes away at all.

At 36 weeks pregnant you may experience a phenomenon known as lighteningwhen your baby drops down lower in preparation for birth. Although this eases the pressure on your lungs, making breathing easier for you, it also means walking may be more uncomfortable.

From Mother 33 weeks pregnant leg and foot cramps can pose a problem. Try to ensure you are getting gentle exercise during the day and if you do get a cramp point your foot upwards and put pressure on the affected area.
